The Den Den Dispatch is a reading-only blog.

  • There are no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we never ask for your name or email address.
  • We use our own first-party analytics and no third-party trackers, and we don’t sell personal data. The only third-party service is advertising. Both are described below.
  • Like any website, the server keeps standard logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for a short time, for security and troubleshooting only.
  • Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from third parties.

Analytics

Den Den Dispatch uses Laftel’s own analytics to see which articles are read, for how long, and which links are clicked, together with the browser, device type and approximate country. It never records what you type, and IP addresses are not stored. A random identifier kept in your browser recognizes returning visits; visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland only get it if they accept the consent message. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not tracked.

Advertising

Den Den Dispatch shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent first.
